We asked for documentation from the Builder that explains the home was built without a residential sprinkler system and since it is a spec home we did not have the option to install the sprinkler system.

We are meeting resistance to our request. We have been informed by the Seller's Agent that installing a sprinkler system now will be extremely expensive since all the walls and ceilings are installed.
