Opteck is the greatest broker I have worked with so far. I had previous experience with several other brokers, but such quality of the trading platform and quotation and such reliability of the support I have never seen before. The previous fact also leads to the conclusion that it is not possible to affirm that Opteck is located in UK, instead, most likely in an offshore;d. SGT Markets, who make the charges on credit cards, is located at the British Virgin Islands and claim they have nothing to do with opteck, what leads to the conclusion that something is really wrong;e.

The director of BNET is Mr Robert Benjamin Gersohn, who is also the director o several other companies listed at the same address of BNET, what leads to the conclusion he could be only a puppet and not the real controller;f. Wishing to be supportive of Daniel, I suggested we have less calls, in the hope that this would enable him to keep his scheduled calls and promises. The next few weeks went without incident and I started doing well and making profits so I thought I should make some withdrawals.

This proved to be the next hurdle. In total I made 4 withdrawals each of which took between 3 to 4 weeks to complete. Not only was the money very slow in transfer but Opteck did not provide any information and I was having to chase constantly to try to get some information as to what the issues were.

As time progressed Daniel taught me the bulk of their strategy and I was beginning to make consistent profit. I was really enjoying the trading and started to gain a bit of confidence, until one day I went to the trading platform as usual and placed my trade only to be told "this trade is below the minimum trade allowed".

I thought there was some sort of problem with the site and e mailed Daniel to find out what was going on. I was rather shocked by this because not only had I not been given any indication that Opteck might do anything like that on my account, but I was not even told beforehand or indeed till 4 days afterwards.

What I found most upsetting was that this decision was made without any discussion with me. Opteck basically hijacked my account by placing a very high minimum trade level without my knowledge, agreement or explanation. To make matters worse this meant that the strategy I had been taught by Daniel was no longer an option.

So all the months I had been training and learning the strategy were rendered useless. Daniel had always told me to make my market test trades. In other words, to place small trades first, followed by larger ones. As if this wasnt enough the management team that made this decision clearly did not check all the facts because not only did they want me to "start making money for Opteck" but they said they put the minimum trade level on my account because I was making small trades.

If they had bothered to check with Daniel or my account they would have learnt that this was exactly what he had taught me to do and furthermore they would have seen that the small trades were always followed by bigger trades. After they imposed the minimum trading limit everything started to go wrong, because I could no longer use the strategy they had taught me and also quite frankly it felt like it was their account to do with as they pleased not mine.

Over the next few weeks I tried to work with the new arrangement but also tried very hard to get Opteck to remove the minimum trade limit. Each week I was losing money and each week I would ask them to remove the minimum trading limit, I explained that clearly the change they had made was not working for me and therefore ultimately not for them either. The professional, ethical and correct business decision at this point would have been to remove the trading minimum and let me resume my successful trading.

Instead Opteck insisted on maintaining the trade minimum. It would have been SO simple for Opteck to resolve this. This went on for a few more weeks until finally I had lost even some of my capital.

Again Opteck were forcing me to work outside of what they had taught me in the first place. The answer I got back was that I was "too high maintenance" and that they would simply close my account.

In other words they created the problems and then labelled me high maintenance. Secondly, by closing my account they took away any possibility of my trading to regain my lost capital. I cannot see how this is a good business decision on Optecks part. My conclusion is that Opteck is not ready to be a serious player in the binary option market and needs to invest in aligning what they promise at the start, teach in their trading strategy to their processes and policies.

They are clearly working against the interest of their traders and therefore their own as well. As it stands now nobody gains anything. All for the sake of a poor business decision that could have been reversed in 2 minutes. One last note, I had introduced 4 other traders to the platform, all were awaiting the outcome on my account before investing more money. Needless to say these people will also be closing their accounts with Opteck. So not only did they lose a successful trader in me but also another 4 potentially successful traders.

I could not recommend these to anyone at all. I signed up and initially was contacted and all was fine but when an accounts manager contacted me he wanted me to lodge larger sums of money. They Will gladly NOT give you a full refund, even though the support staff tell you that you can get a FULL Refund3. They will be more then happy to hold on to your cash and ask for proof of identity to the point of it being on a level of a scammer, and Identity theft NONE of this was mentioned BEFORE they accepted payment The entire draw for alot of clients is that there is the option of using a bot for trading If this account verification and their Nazzi practices are of such God like status Why does opteck not require everyone to verify their accounts BEFORE THEY ACCEPT ANY FORM OF PAYMENT??????

In summary I would simply like to say this to anyone considering this mistake of company: Do you due diligence DO NOT TAKE what they tell you, as all that is required Their agenda is simple: Mislead, leave uninformed, let the customer find out ONLY After they already have your money And the kicker to it all: After numerous complaints they keep harassing me, 5 calls a week i got at some point. This is after they had lied to me about their terms, and i had to fight for months to get my money back, and me eventually closing the account with the message i never ever want to have anything to do with them i wrote it to them, told it on the phone and in chat.

That ofcourse makes no difference, because they don't give a purple carrot about the customer. Any complaint is pointless, it been over a year now, and still they call me out of bed even on a sunday morning. It has come to they point that i am seriously considering legal steps, just to get them of my back. If you want your money, privacy and yourself respected, never trade with this company.

They get you to max out your credit card say that your money is safe with them and that they use risk management strategies then trade recklessly with your money until all is lost. Then say they done nothing wrong lots of other people have complained about them. I only wish I found this site before. I joined Opteck because I had a very bad experience with my first trading company. Even when I hadn't joined Opteck yet, I had contact with one of the account managers, Helen Banks, who was very kind and compassionate and was the main reason why I joined Opteck.

She knew I had lost a lot of money due to a fault not of my own, and she informed me that there was a recovery plan to get my money back. When I did join Opteck, on the 19th April , Helen still showed a lot of personal interest, and she told me when my account gets activated, she will give me a call and she will be the one responsible for building up the recovery plan. I got a call back from Shannon Prince, on the 20th April who wasn't the account manager I was told I would receive a call from, but she was very explanatory and she was now practically my go to person.

She took down my details and done a questionnaire with myself to set up a financial plan. On the 21st April, she called me back an hour later than what we arranged. I told her I was in a meeting and she said she would call me back tomorrow, but she still explained why she was calling.

She even gave tips on how I could possibly get my money back from the other company. However, she didn't call me back.

I emailed Helen and Shannon asking them to contact me, but they never did. They acknowledged my email and they said I needed to scan my debit card to fully authorise my account which I did. The next day I made this complaint, I received a call from a senior account manager, David Thompson who called me to have a session with me.

He said that I need to be on a computer, and I said that I would send him an email to confirm the time. As I personally got caught up in everyday life, I didn't send an email. I told him that I wanted to make a withdrawal but he said that he acknowledged my withdrawal request and he said that 'we need to have a session today, and then we can take care of the withdrawal for you. When he called, he said that he wanted to set up and place some trades before 2pm his 4pm. He advised me to download Teamviewer so that he could see my screen.

As I had the incorrect version, he resent the link for Teamviewer and put me on hold. He then took my off hold after around 4 minutes, and he directed me to the trading platform. Because I hadn't traded on the platform before, and because of a conversation I had with Shannon where she explained the first trade I make will be risk free, meaning that if I win I can keep the winnings, and if I lose, it will come out of the company's budget, I asked David if we still have the risk free trade available.

He said if you look at the returns available, you will see that they are very good, clearly disregarding my question. He then advised me to place 4 trades. After the trades were placed, he told me he would call me back within an hour since that would be when the trades expire. After the trades expired, I looked on my account and I saw that I didn't win a single trade. Completely shocked at this decision, I went onto Facebook and located their UK based number.

I have emailed a complain on the 3 October till today i have not received any respond ,its like they really like what they doing to people. Taking money from people,people take their pensions thinking that they can change their financial problems and not thinking that they actually applying to be broke.

On the 17 August account was opened for me with an amount of USD and i have never traded until i complained then a lady by the name of Alex Silver phoned me after two weeks of opening the account with Opteck. Then she said in order to make money i have to put more money then i told her but i thought Opteck is advertising that you can start with a minimum of USD Because she told me to trust her and i will be trading with her i did, not knowing that she was being greedy and selfish and the bonus they promise i never got.

Then an amount of USD ,USD and USD was debited from my account on the 13 September. She told me never to trade alone because we have to make profit i listened to her,We never made profit only a loss within a week.

On a Friday i send her an email because i was starting to panic,I got a shocking response from her telling me how she deals with big accounts and i should make another USD without a shame. I was deceived and heartbroken thinking how is it possible that we didn't even make USD profit and people like her should not be representing OPteck i never even got the bonus that opteck is advertising.

All i want is my money back because i will open a case to me this is fraud and i'm not satisfied at all. The guy didnt seem too happy with this and said in a rather ofish voice that an accountant would ring me back. I have had no such phone call and am consered my money wont be coming back to me.
